Christmas!!!

All of the kids had a "sleep over" in S's room. M and S now share a room so the two big sisters made themselves beds of blankets and slept on the floor. They slept until about 7:30 and then all came down together (not something that happened in my house growing up).

That box is a tampoline. The kids had seen the box in the garage a few days earlier and mom convinced them that it was a box with speakers for dad. S. still had this in his mind and when we asked him if he liked the trampoline he would say "It's not a trampoline. It is speakers for dad. Open it up and you'll see that it isn't a trampoline!"
About a month ago we removed all of the fruit snacks in the house because that is all that M wanted to eat. Unfortunately, Santa didn't get the memo... M was more interested in eating fruit snacks than any present she received.
Finally, another wii controller and some steering wheels to play mario kart. I don't think that these kids will ever be able to drive.

It took more than four hours to put this trampoline in order, but we managed to wedge it in a great spot that will have some shade. The kids had much more fun helping and playing with the trampoline packaging materials than they had with their toys. All except for one kid who didn't want to help....
