Grandma

Grandma S came to visit with us during spring break. We all had a great time and think that she enjoyed the warmer temperatures.


One day we went to the Austin Rodeo and spent a lot of time at the carnival. This is my favorite picture. Someone should have thought to put the lightest kid on the inside of a ride that spins around. It was hard to watch my boy get squished by his sisters who were oblivious to his discomfort , but it was also funny.

M. really wanted to ride the big kid rides, and she finally fell asleep at about 3pm.

M. loved the carosel and cried when it was time to get off. After looking at the pictures, I realized that s. got off of his horse and onto something else - while the carosel was moving!!
M. hestitated getting onto the pony, but she definitely didn't want to get off of it.



The petting zoo was great. This little goat kept trying to eat my shorts, S. kept running and scaring the deer, and all of the animals ignored us when they realized that we didn't have food in our hands.
